Cross Pollination

Open View Farm is home to a 2.49 megawatt DC solar array, which is owned and operated by Crosspollination Inc. The array is composed of 8,448 photovoltaic modules and produces an estimated 2,700-megawatt hours of electricity per year. This is enough electricity to power approximately 400 homes.

The array spans 17 acres. Our sheep enjoy grazing under and around the panels and seem to appreciate the shade and shelter the panels provide. We are proud to support sustainable energy production along side agriculture here at Open View Farm.
